I run a top of screen PowerPro launch bar that appears with a top screen bump. I have the "disable bump..." checked. Just installed 49l on my bright shiny new Win7 machine and discovered after a bit of head scratching that PowerPro appears to consider the Aero theme a full screen app and my launch bar won't appear if the most recent focus was the desktop or a desktop icon. If I click a window to get the focus off the desktop, the bar appears normally. If I uncheck the "disable bump..." checkbox, then it works fine. If I turn off the Aero theme and go to the classic windows theme, the problem also goes away. Maybe there's a way to recognize the Aero stuff as a special case. Maybe not...
Same bar, different but related problem. I do a lot of inter-machine VNC desktops with all my different machines. They all have the same above mentioned launch bar running with PowerPro. Here I have the opposite situation. With an UltraVNC full screen window, PowerPro apparently doesn't see that as a "full screen program" and doesn't disable the bump on the machine that has the VNC window up. Net result is that the launch bars from both the VNC viewer machine and the VNC server machine want to appear when I bump the top of the screen. Lot of confusion caused by this. I haven't found a workaround for this one. No idea why PowerPro doesn't recognize the full screen VNC as a full screen program, but it doesn't appear to. Any thoughts on a workaround for this would be appreciated. TIA to all and the always heartfelt thanks to Bruce for one of the all time great useful apps.
