it dasn't make any difference if this enabled or not.
echo 1 or 0 > /sys/modules/ac97_codec/parameters/powersave
keep power usage at 11.2W, "rmmod snd_intel8x0" make 10,7W
if you use the sysfs interface, you first need to play a sound for the
setting to become active ;(
