Hey *, after playing around with powertop on my IBM X31, I noticed, that the main wakeup-source is the radeon driver in the kernel: 60 wakeups per second. It seems to be the same problem as with the Intel driver. Quick googling gave the following thread: http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/5/14/487 So "upstream" (the kernel-guys) is informed, but there is no real fix for this yet, as Michael's patch seems to be too destructive (didn't test it, but it should break 3d :/)
Just wanted to let you all know that Regards Evgeni -- ^^^ | Evgeni -SargentD- Golov ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) d(O_o)b | GPG/PGP-Key-ID: 0xAC15B50C >-|-< | 0C04 F872 0963 ADC9 AA83 882B 24A0 1418 AC15 B50C / \ | http://www.die-welt.net - [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Power mailing list [email protected] http://www.bughost.org/mailman/listinfo/power
