Hi Evgeni,

Even though I already mentioned that hack in a thread here[1], maybe
it's a good idea to discuss it in a new thread.

I've been using this patch without problems. I don't use any 3D stuff,
so I can't say much about breaking it or not, but glxgears runs as usual
(not that it means much).
