I can confirm this on my VIA VT8237 with 2.6.22-rc4-hrt7 + http://os.inf.tu-dresden.de/~us15/via-hpet.patch
dmesg reports: hpet clockevent registered hpet0: at MMIO 0xfed00000, IRQs 2, 8, 0 hpet0: 3 32-bit timers, 14318180 Hz Time: tsc clocksource has been installed. but powertop's C-states info is not available too. 2007/6/15, Frédéric BOITEUX <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
