Following the call for powertop information made to the fedora-test-list
here is some information from several scenarios I regularly use my
laptop in:

Scenario 1) Mains connected, continuous wireless network usage
Scenario 2) Mains connected, continuous 3g usb network usage
Scenario 3) Battery powered, laptop mode (using suggestions given by
powertop via manually run script) light 3g usb network usage

Hope all this helps. The information is collected over about a 4 hour
period in each case.
