Hallo, i just wanted to know i f someone played around with C-states of this cpu? In the datasheet for my ICH8 (ftp://download.intel.com/design/chipsets/datashts/31305603.pdf) i found somethin on page 378, so i thought i could activate C3->C4 remapping... would "setpci -v -s 00:1f.0 a0.b=7 " be the correct thing to do or not? I t seems that it saves me some power, but i am not 100% sure. Maybe someone else can tell me something about it.. lspci now outputs lspci -xxx -s 00:1f.0 00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation 82801HBM (ICH8M-E) LPC Interface Controller (rev 03) 00: 86 80 11 28 07 00 10 02 03 00 01 06 00 00 80 00 10: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 aa 17 b6 20 30: 00 00 00 00 e0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 40: 01 10 00 00 80 00 00 00 81 11 00 00 10 00 00 00 50: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 60: 8a 8b 8b 8b 90 00 00 00 8b 8b 8b 8b 00 00 00 00 70: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 80: 10 00 08 1f 01 16 7c 00 e1 15 0c 00 81 16 1c 00 90: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 a0: 17 0e 00 00 01 00 80 00 13 1c 0a 00 00 03 00 80 b0: 00 00 f0 00 00 00 00 00 20 00 02 08 00 00 00 00 c0: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 d0: 33 22 11 00 67 45 00 00 cf ff 00 00 01 00 00 00 e0: 09 00 0c 10 00 02 0c c3 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 f0: 01 c0 d1 fe 00 2b 20 00 86 0f 05 00 00 00 00 00
