How does translating this datasheet actually work?
I have a ICH8 myself and would like to know if I can save some power
with your trick, but I'd like to understand how you managed to translate
"PM-D31:F0" and "Offset A0h" into 00:1f.0 a0.b and why you're setting it
to 7...
Does a0.b mean row "a0" and column "b" (=11th) ? But this one isn't 7 in
your example, it seems to be "0a"...
It would be nice if someone could explain this, maybe even with some
background infos...we must have some gurus on this mailing list ;)
