Hi,

I am affected by a bug that causes kernel panics when powertop runs:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/585938

The bug itself seems to be in the rtl8192se_pci kernel module, but it
might be helpful to know what powertop is asking the module to do. The
realtek developers do not seem to really know what's going on so if I
could point the min a particular direction it might be really helpful
Can anyone on the list suggest what sort of things to look for? I
should say also that I myself am not a programmer, and can barely read C
-- so if you could point me to specific places in the powertop codebase
that might also be really helpful, as I could forward that information
on to the realtek developers.

Thanks veyr very much -- this issue is actually sort of killing me! all
the best,
Matt
