Hi,

I tried it but unfortunately I wasn't that successful - 
the ugly fglrx BUGs with CONFIG_FTRACE set and afterwards the system is quite 
unstable :)

I tried starting powertop though, but the process freezes and is unkillable 
(neither ctrl-c nor kill -9)

Maybe I'll try to boot without a fglrx module laying around tomorrow.
