Actually, issue is not from 2.6.35, it is rather android's "udev" like
system, that does not put msr in its own directory. Hence the change in
order for powertop to support android.

I agree it has to come in another patch.

What I dont understand is how you disable MSR_CORE_RESIDENCY and
MSR_CPU_RESIDENCY in this patch.
