Hi:
You listers have been a real source of information for me and my 4 powerbooks
(Duo280c, Duo250, PB520c, PB540c) maybe you can help me with this early Portable.
The drive spins up but is not recognized. I tried all of the standard
utilites but nothing finds the drive. I then tried APS PowerTools and it
finds the drive on ID 0 and correctly identifies it as a Connor 40mb drive,
and says that it is not mounted. The only option that it offers is to Format.
When I click Format, it reports Asyncronious Format failure, unrecognized OS.
So I can't initialize it or mount it. Is there something older that I maybe
need to initilize the drive, or is it a hopeless case.
Any help would be appreciated.
