AFAIK it should. I've used my Palm Pilot 1000 on a 7500 and a PB 5300.
I've also hooked up a Palm III to the PB5300. All this was with Palm
Desktop v2.6. I've also setup a Visor to Firewire PowerBook G3, again
useing PD v2.6. As long as you can connect the Palm cradle to a serial
port you should be okay.
