Picked up a 1400cs, when I press on the sides of the plastics that
surround the screen I notice I get a wavey loss of color, not a total
loss but about a 1/3 less color depth. This reaches in about an inch
or 2 from the sides where the pressure is applied. You have to pinch
pretty good to do this, just opening and closing does not cause this.
Is this normal with the dual scan screens. I have not seen this in
the 5300 cs I have.
Want to be sure this is not a problem as I bought this to
learn the nuts and bolts of taking apart the 1400 and I am looking at
upgrading the screen to active, I am going to sell this screen and
want to make sure I am not selling someone a problem.
