I sent this to the lowendmac but thought this list might be more
appropriate:

Here's something curious.

I've been playing Warcraft on an upgraded Color Classic (Performa 575
motherboard, 68040 instead of 68LC040, 20MB RAM, 7.6.1, 640x480
screen).

Then I played the same game on an upgraded Powerbook 540c tonight
(100MHz 603E PowerPC cpu instead of the 68LC040, 40MB RAM, OS 8.1).

The Powerbook was very very noticeably slower. Screen scrolling was
especially painful.

Does anyone have any theories and/or suggestions for improvement?

Thanks.

Ben
