"I have a PB 1400cs and want to get it running in
Ukraine. The voltage here is 220. Do I need to buy a
voltage transformer to run the machine, or can I just
use a little mechanism to adapt between american
plugins and Ukrainian?"

All you will need for the PB is an adaptor plug like you buy in airports. Same for the
Stylewriter. Your Apple dealer can order you a power adaptor for a European plug, but
this is not required. The voltage range for both is quite universal. You should also
know that Apple is very poorly represented in Eastern Europe. If you suddenly need a
part, eBay Deutschland may be your only recourse.
