Yes, you need the PowerBook video cable and a VGA Adapter to do it.

IIRC Orange Micro made a product called Grappler that connected to the
serial port on a Mac and the parallel port of a printer. It included
software to work with most (many?) parallel port printers.

Yes. A 190 might not be able to use it to it's fullest but it will get
better than 33.6 performance out of it. Consider looking for a used 56K PC
Card modem.

AppleWorks 5 (same as CW 5 after a name change) worked quite well on my
PB180 so it should do fine on a 190.

I haven't used a 190 but I have a 5300 (same screen / keyboard options as a
190) and several Quadras (roughly same processor performance) and they do
quite well. Netscape 4.0.8 should work well on a 190 provided you have
enough RAM. 20Mb is do able, 32Mb or more would be better.
