I have gotten several 5300s thru more than once, but only for items covered
by the REA. The REA is specific as to what is covered and what is not. IIRC
the display is not specifically covered and so therefore specifically not
covered.
The plastics are covered, but not the LCD.
How to get Apple to repair the display? Pay $400.
