Greetings from Lviv, Ukraine!

Not a lot of Macs here, I must say. Oh well, at least I found a server that
knows about Macs.

Anyway, the question: I have a PB1400cs with a Sonnect Crescendo PB/G3 400 and
64 MB RAM. In general, I love this machine, it runs very well most of the
time. But, recently, it has began to freeze up more often than usual. It
freezes usually once or twice in the morning when I first start it up, and then
maybe once more at some point in the day. I asked the one MAC expert in all of
Lviv [probably] about this, and he suggested that I turn off some extensions
and get rid of Ram Doubler. I did all of this, but I am still having problems
with the machine freezing. When it freezes, the only thing I can do is push
control, apple and the on/off switch to get it to restart. Then, Disk First
Aid always comes on, which seems to do absolutely nothing to help, though it
says that everything is fine. I have rebuilt the desktop and zap the pram
several times, but none of this helps. I have been told that it is probable
that one of the extensions still ON is the cause of the problem.

So, any thoughts on what can be done?

Thanks for any advice in advance.

Cheers,

mark
