I have 8.1 and NS 4.05 (I had bad luck with 4.08 somewhere
along the line) installed now. A friend had the 29 pin SCSI cable she didn't
need and so all that is confounding my neat little 68040 laptop
(Paul I think you helped me a lot back when I was getting the
145B set up) is some batteries. But oi! $120-$145 for new
ones. I downloaded the Intelligent Battery Renewal and it does
the precharge but then tells me to return the battery to Apple.
I thought I found a link to the Lind software BU 500 Deluxe,
but the server is down just now. Were you saying that there is
a VST battery utility as well?
And no luck searching for battery rebuilders or any other
query for used batteries. Any links there?
