All this means is that the  "intelligent" processor is messed up.  The
battery will still take a charge frequently.  The advantage of the VST
software is that one function, SmartProbe, gives all the information to be
found about the battery, including just how much charge it has, what the
maximum charge is.  I have restored batteries by alternating running the
VST software alternating with IBR for three or four cycles (ignore what
they say about failure) and open Smart Probe at each time you run the VST
reconditioning software.  If it says the battery has any charge and that
the maximum it will take is 1752 mah, then put it to sleep until it is
fully charged.

Yes, and I have it, but no good way to get it to you.  It's the important
one, although I haven't gotten my remaining 540 going to test it.

Look on ebay for squid4093.  I've e-mailed Mike Ford for the address of
another one in California.  I'll drop it to the list when I get it.
