Well, stick me in vinegar and call me a pickle...I just looked the thing up in the AppleSpec database. The Portable Stylewriter was only ever made with a parallel port, achieving the distinction of being the only printer ever made by Apple that wouldn't work with _any_ computer Apple ever made, it apprently shipped with a PowerPrint serial-to-parallel cable...like I said, made during Weird Times at Apple... That has to make it only a rebadged Canon portable Bubblejet...that said, it'll work with a PC or a USB->Parallel converter, or the aforementioned PowerPrint cable. Dunno whether the Apple drivers will work, though...one of the TechNotes discusses connecting a PowerBook G3 to it, ad suggests getting a new cable and drivers from PowerPrint. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
