found this while going thru my s/w archives. Here is the ReadMe.

This document provides additional information about Global Village PC Card 
Enablers 1.0.7 Update installer for Global Village PC Cards. The information 
in this document supplements the information included in your GlobalFax 
User's Guide  and PC Card User's Guide.

The following topics are discussed:

o What does the installer do
o Who should use the update installer


I. What Does the Installer Do

Customers who have upgraded to Mac OS 9 have experienced problems using their 
Global Village PC Cards with GlobalFax software installed. The update 
replaces all the Global Village PC Card modem enabler files with version 
1.0.7 to make them compatible with Mac OS 9.0.


II. Who Should Use the Update Installer

Note: You must update your GlobalFax software to version GV PC Card 3.0.6 
before using this updater!  Free software updates are available from the 
Global Village web site at http://www.globalvillage.com

If you are running Mac OS 9.0 and currently have GV PC Card 3.0.6 software 
installed, you should run the installer.
