I just bought a Wallstreet with a screen that is not working. It was all white, now it's dark. The machine works with an external monitor. It has 300 MHz processor, 1 MB BAckside L2 cache, 3.81 GB Hard Drive, a Floppy Drive module and a DVD Module.
I'd like to get opinions about cost effectiveness of fixing the screen vs selling off the parts. Another question...when trying to play a DVD, I get a message stating that I don't have all the necessary hardware, possibly a PCMCIA card. I thought that the 300 MHz machines had this installed and didn't need the PCMCIA card. Thanks, Donny Monk -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
