Thats exactly what I did.  I hate finger goo.  I dont know if that 
helped the keyboard action, but it did clean it up.  IIRC, there are 
3 small parts to each key (and a fourth for some of the big keys). 
THe keys I individually cleaned with rubbing alcohol, and the small 
parts I used a bit of soap and water in a bucket.  It wasnt too hard.
