Congrats on the 2300. Nice freebee!

The ticking is indeed a dead power supply (know as the tick-of-death) so
it's history unless you can get a knew PS.

The 2300 is 100MHz PowerPC with 603e processor. It the first and only
PowerMac Duo. It has at least 8MB RAM (more if it has been upgraded) and at
least a 750MB HD or the optional 1.1GB.
