Lots of places sell parts www.powerbookparts.com, www.macresq.com are two.

There are the rare ethernet minidocks, and appletalk to Ethernet 
coverters like Asante's EtherPrint

or the regular dock.

(And Samba works perfectly fine with Win2k...what problems are you having?)
