Okay. Got a PB 160 that doesn't like its floppy drive.
Swapped it out for a known good one. No go. Swapped
the
cable. No go. Earlier I had swapped the HD for a
larger
one. Now, at startup it tells me that the HD isn't a
Mac disk and asks if I want to initialize. It's got a
system on it. I'm thinking that this is larger than
the
floppy but it sounds so weird it might jar someone's
memory if it happened to them. BTW, on the mobo the
chips have little rubber hats that look like that
could
be factories in the board game Monopoly. One is
missing. Is this critter toast?
