You might try carefully cleaning the keyboard with canned air or a special
vacumn attachment.  I have a 520C which I like and just had some minor work
done on, but I have a passive-matrix screen with some weird lines in it.
Also, the hinges have been fixed, but the bottom plastic piece on the screen
is missing.  You might try a very soft brush with very thin bristles and use
it very carefully.  Maybe, you could turn the machine upside down carefully
and very carefully tap it on the bottom.  Good luck.
