For some strange reason, I can't surf to any pages on info.apple or the apple knowledgebase. I can hit Apples website fine, but as soon as I do any searches, I always get a "This Page cannot be displayed" error... It may be DNS settings on my computer here at work - I haven't tried it from anywhere else. But I don't have trouble accessing any other pages that I know of on any other sites... strange. Anyway, after much google searching, I found what I needed at macsupport.about.com. Of course, then I had the issues of getting the Mac file downloaded on my PC and then transferred to my PB 3400. I wasn't looking forward to it. I've had terrible experiences trying to get files from Mac to PC on my old SE30 and Color Classic at home using TransMac... Much to my joy (after downloading transmac and preparing for the worst) I discovered that the PB 3400 reads PC formatted floppies!!! I assume this was a feature added after a certain OS release?? Anyway, I was able to expand the .BIN file, as, luckily, I had Stuffit Expander on the 3400. Alas, it expanded into an .IMG file. But, with little hassle, I was able to google my way to Disk Copy 6.1 as well, and, after another painless transfer from PC to Mac, I was able to get the extensions loaded and now get a link light on my hub!!
