No. If you try to decode anything on that PC you will mess up the data forks so it cannot be read on the Mac. You leave the file as is on the PC. Put it straight to a floppy. Take that PC floppy to the Mac. The Mac will ask you what program you want to use to decode it. there will be a list. Hopefully the list will contain Stuffit Deluxe or Stuffit Expander (a free program to expand files). You choose that one. If you do not have Stuffit Expander then you need to get Stuffit Expander first (preferably as a .sea file not a .hqx or .sit. then it can expand itself, because .sea is a self-expanding-archive.
As an aisde, I think you mentioned in another one of your posts that the file was 3.5 MB. that won't fit on a floppy. The max size on a floppy is 1.44MB.
