He may have confused mklinux with this: http://www.mac.linux-m68k.org/ This is a version of Linux that was in process of being ported to 68k Mac platforms. It may or may not be live still - I notice the home page talks about 2.4 kernels so it may not be completely dead. He's better off trying to install Debian 68k as it's probably a little smoother than the other one but then I haven't installed my copy yet.
