I use it on several boxes, emulated and real, and it's great.

There are two ways to install it. You can take a clean drive and run the 
98lite installer first, pick your options, and let it run. It'll take care 
of it. One of the options is to swap the 98 shell for 95's, which leave you 
with a much faster desktop because all the IE Integration is gone. You can 
actually complete remove IE which is good for installations which will 
never touch the internet.

You can also install it later, but I've tended to have more problems with 
ones that are installed later. Works great otherwise, almost makes you 
appreciate Windows ;) Note that you'll need both a Win98 and a Win95 
installation CD to do the sleek install, primarily of Win98 components with 
a few Win95 parts swapped in.

The beauty of it is you get all the bug "fixes" and internal updates of 
WIn98 or Win98SE (USB, drivers, IE 6 compatibility) with the speed and 
simplicity of Win95. Perfect for low-end and emuated computers.
