Hello: I have a Mac Portable that I am trying to resuscitate.
On startup with an internal hard drive connected, I get the following sad mac code: 00000014 0000CD36 I do not get the sad mac codes when I remove the hard drive and boot off an EXTERNAL floppy; then the portable starts up okay. (Do not have an internal floppy.) It should be noted that I am powering the Mac with a Powerbook 100 2 amp power brick; no internal lead acid or 9volt battery. Any ideas where to look?
