By now you've got several accurate and identical answers (flash card + pcmcia adapter) 
to your question.  The only thing left out is that your 5300, with its 8-bit color 
(assuming it's not grayscale!), 640x480 resolution and painful slowness, is pretty 
ill-suited to digital photography.  You'll be able to see and store the photos that 
you're taking, and even resize/email photos if you're patient enough--just don't 
expect to do any editing.
