You can also get PCMCIA adapters for Memory Stick & Multimedia cards - although I go with CF, as the media is cheapest and so are the adapters.
You can also use them as Mac volumes, of course - reboot with extensions off and format. For reformatting (several ways), but the quickest I've found is to use the old shareware Disk Charmer and tell it to reformat as a PC volume.
