Hello,
I have a powerbook 5300ce with an active matrix screen. The screen shimmers
and is especially noticeable with the lines on a dialogue box. Someone
suggested it could be the inverter board.
Could someone tell me what an inverter board does, is it possibly the cause
of the shimmer problem, and would an inverter board from a powerbook 190cs
work to replace one in a 5300?
Others have suggested I need to buy the Sanyo cable for the LCD screen, but
I can't seem to find one reasonably priced.
