Called Apple this morning re the REA.  Rats!  Unfortunately, it looks like
I'm out of luck on sending the 5300cs in under the program.  Apparently this
machine had already gone through it for that very problem so they said they
won't do it twice.  It had two date stamps inside battery too.  I'm going to
try one more option today in town but I fear I may be on my own.

I can see the Power Connector card jiggling around with the keypad off so
hopefully that is the problem and maybe the logic board has already been
replaced anyhow.  Maybe it just needs a little bit of solder.

It was a nice try anyhow re the REA.  Thanks for the lead.  Thought I lucked
out but now I may need to play tech.  So I guess in a few days time I will
be looking for a little more advice in that direction.  I'll keep you all
informed.  Thanks!
