Hi all what i want to do is use the 3400c powerbook to connect to the net and then whilst i am on the net allow my daughter to also connect to the net on the 7100/80 desktop. through the same modem i am useing.
The hardware i have to use is: Pb 3400c 64mb ram running 9.0.4 desktop 7100/80 104mb ram running 9.0.4 PCMCIA modem in powerbook. ethernet cable cross over type connecting the two. i have tried sharing my explorer file but it keeps comming up saying the connection cannot be made. What do i need if anything and what should all the software be set at. the reason is my daughter wants to use the internet at the same time as me through the same modem can this be done.
