Since this is my first post to this list, I just thought I'd mention my
page on patching MacOS 8.5/6/9.1 to run on PPC upgraded Macs including
PowerBooks. I've got 9.1 on my NUPowr167-upgraded 540c and it works very
nicely, in fact I'm pretty well satisfied that it's faster and more
stable than 8.5/6 ever was for me on the same PB. I still haven't tested
9.1 with any of my other PPC upgrades (PowerPro, PowerCard, Turbo 601,
etc.), but I suppose that's a topic for another list! : >)
