No. Code stripper is for fat apps only, and strips the *duplicated* 68K 
code from the application.

8.1 still has a bunch of code that runs only in emulation on a PPC. It 
doesn't run poorly on a PPC machine, mind you...in many ways 8.1 was a 
very very good OS rev.

8.6 and 9.x added (finally) all-PPC code and many bells and whistles, 
but 8.1 was nice and stable.
