Hi to all Got a pb 1400cs/166 that won't start up 9 out of 10 times. Its start with noise coming from the speaker and distortion on the screen (which seems to get worser if I move the mouse) and finally I get a floppy sign with a question mark, sometimes I get an Mac sign with an sad face. I can't even start the machine with a system 8 disc (do I have to press any key to make it boot from the cd?) on rare occasions the machine boots and works fine untill I restart it and all problems return. When it worked I checked the HD and repaired it so it should be fine. To be honest I have no clue what this problem is if anyone could help me I would be very happy! I have already checked the connections from the HD and the Keyboard....
