I have used RealPC with Win95 on my 1400 - it's slow, even with the 466mhz upgrade, and I never successfully printed anything. Are you saying you only have 8MB RAM? W95 likes to have at least 16, and I have it set to use about 24 on my PowerBook. However, if you already have a W95 CD, the DOS version of RealPC is only about $30 to download from FWB, plus they usually have a 10% discount for first-time buyers. If you only have one program to run that might work for you.

I need to get an old (5+ years old, says it requires just 8mb ram, prefers 16) Windows 95 app to run on a 3400/180. I do have a copy of Windows 95. What I need is advice on which emulation software I should use ... I've heard of VirtualPC and RealPC. Which one might be best (or is there a better way?), and which version should I be looking for to run with OS 8.6 and Win 95? Any advice on setup also appreciated ... should I run this on it's own drive partition or??? Thanks, Jean -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
