I finally got the Battery Info stuff installed.  (Note to self--if
something has a dead battery, don't put stuff on the desktop!  It
disappeared when I restarted the computer.)

At any rate, I put in the Type III battery and it does show that it's
charging.  So I'll give it awhile and see if that one will take enough of a
charge to boot up the Duo.  If it will do that, so I can make sure that the
screen is okay, I'll plan on picking up another Type III battery later on.
