My 5300cs did format over 9 gig of space, which I now have 8.9 free, with
the OS installed. I am usiing OS 8.6, even used drive setup. Of course it
could also be I have an apple rommed fuijitusi from a wallstreet. I did do
the low level, and zero write before doing the install, took a long time. So
try that other wise.Oh ome last item I have no jumper on either of the sets
of pins, but the one 500 meg I had in it did. Go figure.
