Well, I'll be darned. I was all ready to reply with a "What kind of Duo do 
you have?" message, looking at my extra half-dead 2300 board, when the big 
heat shield thing fell off, revealing a familiar-looking header. Plugged it 
into a spare mostly disassembled 130, and there was the display.

You learn something new every day ;)
