        If you have the standard SCSI DB-25 TO CENT50 cable, which is the
common one here, you don't need anything but an external like a CD-ROM or
an external hard drive in between two cables.  The external hard drive can
be extremely useful in teh chain, as well.
        It sounds as if you probably have everything you need right there.
The external drive doesn't even need to work, as the functional bit is the
two Centronix jacks on the back linked together by the internal SCSI cable.
