teac cd-224e thats what i have in my pb 1400 its 24x works with apple cd-rom
drivers and takes about 5 min`s to swap out the guts from your dead drive to
install the teac into apple`s cd drive housing nothing else to do but enjoy
found mine on ebay i think i paid 24.95 not more thqn 30.00 dollars...
oh yea i looked into buying a cd-rw for my book but with the bus speed and
help from this list (maddog) figured i could only get 1x write so i decided
against it....
