Thanks for the reply. However, I do have the service manual. Understand about the memory issue for "normal" memory cards. However, this card is in J12, which is labeled "PDS." The connector is configured much like the "PDS" slot of an SE (suprise).
In that slot it would have to have some "special" use. Something like an automatic RAM disk, or some such? It must need some sort of special driver as it is not seen by the machine in a normal 6.08 boot.
