I use my Motorola StarTac with Verizon service. A data cable to the serial port is all that is needed, the phone has a built in modem. This is limited to 14,400. It can drop out from time to time but I think I kept the connection for at least 30 minutes most of the time. Verizon also offers a data service. Speed is up to 144Kbps. It requires a particular phone and the service is an add on feature. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting [EMAIL PROTECTED] "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
